Hi Skylexy:Thank for your inquiry. Skin turning black is a sign that blood supplying oxygen to that area has compromised-thus the skin has died. This may be a result of several factors, among them excess tension to the area, cutting off the blood supply. Treatment at this point should be conservative, allow the skin to regrow and help it with creams like Nitro paste and anti-inflammatory medication.
