For now: keep the wound and sutures moist and clean with antibiotic ointment. Sutures: make sure that your sutures are removed between 5-7 days (I prefer 5 days)After suture removal: Consider a scar gel such as Stratamed or Silagen6-8 weeks post injury: Consider laser resurfacing or dermabrasion. Dermabrasion of the forehead can occasionally lead to prolonged redness so laser is likely more beneficial.Best.

Definitely. Rhinoplasty can be performed to project the tip of the nose and likely raise the bridge slightly. This also has the effect of refining and narrowing the tip. If you are concerned about your profile you should also consider chin augmentation to balance the upper, middle and lower thirds of your face. Consult with a rhinoplasty expert. We're just down the highway BTW.

I have not found this to be the case. Typically, it's very difficult to feel that tapered end of the implant even in cases where I know exactly where the implant tapers. As long as the implant is not over sized and is properly placed this should not be an issue. Best.

Yes. However, you will want to remove the filler prior to deciding on the implant size and shape. Voluma can require a larger amount of Hylenex than other fillers given its density and the amount of cross-linking level of the product. Best.

Hylenex is not ototoxic. I am curious where you came across that information? Hylenex can be used anywhere that hyaluronic acid filler has been placed. The key is to place the Hylenex within the filler collection for optimal results. Typically, 20-30 units of Hylenex are required to remove about 0.1mL of filler. Best.

Fillers can definitely be safely injected under the eyes. You need to find a physician injector that knows what they’re doing. I love Juvederm but it tends to draw in too much water and is this not used beneath the eyes. Volbella and Belotero work beautifully. Best.

This artery is only at risk during sinus procedures and even then an injury to the artery is very low. It can be repaired with endoscopic cautery AKA TESPAL procedure. If you’re considering rhinoplasty this should not be a primary concern. There are much more relevant things to consider. Best.

It does appear that you still have significant swelling beneath the chin. Ptotic submandibular glands can be "unmasked" by facelift surgery if they are not addressed during surgery. There are plastic surgeons that will perform J Plasma on the neck. However, the risk of scarring is significant. Therefore, I choose to avoid treating below the level of the hyoid (upper part of the voicebox). The same is true of CO2 lasers but the power can be regulated in a way that CO2 can be used on the neck at a much lower power level than the face. Yes, the changes you're looking for can be created but not by the method that you ask about. An alar base reduction is the answer. It does NOT look unnatural when performed properly. The key is to find a rhinoplasty surgeon that is highly skilled in both rhinoplasty and alar base reduction. The former does not guarantee the latter. Best.
