Is it possible to get effective laser hair removal on the stomach and back without shaving?
Laser hair removal
Jul 14, 2019
Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, laser hair removal can be done without fist shaving, but it may be a little more painful. You may also notice the smell of hair burning. I always recommend shaving first to help reduce discomfort. Either way should be just as effective though. The two things you don’t want to do, however, is wax or pluck the hair, as both of these remove the hair shaft which is necessary to carry the laser energy down to t…
How can I treat a vein in my upper lip?
Vein in the lips
Jun 13, 2019
Hello and thank you for your question. Veins in the lips can usually be successfully treated with either IPL (such as the Icon MaxG) or laser (such as the Icon 1064 laser). They may take several treatments to successfully resolve. So there is hope. I would recommend consulting your local aesthetic physician for more advice on treatment. Good luck!

Botox and headaches
May 24, 2019
Botox is actually indicated in the treatment of migraine headaches. That, plus the timing of your headache makes it very unlikely that Botox caused the headache. Hope it improves, if not, then you should see your family doctor. Best wishes. Dr. Fleming

SculpSure
May 7, 2019
Since you finished the prednisone prior to the SculpSure, the anti-inflammatory effects of the prednisone should be minimal. A successful SculpSure treatment depends on the inflammatory response generated by destruction of the fat cells. That triggers the body to reabsorb the fat cells. You should try to avoid any further anti-inflammatory medications including NSAIDs such as ibuprofen and naproxen. I hope this helps.
Will I repeat my laser sessions after bikini hair is back after pregnancy?
Laser hair removal
May 7, 2019
The hormonal changes during pregnancy has likely contributed to the hair regrowth. Laser treatment after delivery should be effective again at removing that unwanted hair. You may or may not need as many treatments as before, depending on how much hair has regrown. Good luck with your pregnancy!
I have thin but black facial hair. Will laser treatment be beneficial for me?
Laser hair removal
May 7, 2019
Yes, your dark facial hair could be treated very successfully with laser hair removal/reduction. I would recommend an IPL treatment targeted toward the pigment in the hair shaft, such as an ICON MaxR. It may take multiple treatments, however, to achieve the best effect. I hope this helps.
