Should o-shot PRP burn?
Yes, there can be a little burn..
Sep 4, 2019
I inject PRP during the O-Shot, as well as the face, in the Vampire Lift procedures. Yes, occasionally a patient can report a "burning" sensation as PRP is being injected. This can be due to a couple of things, including the specific reagents or PRP system the provider uses. That said, the burning sensation is fleeting during injection, and should dissipate within hours, or less. If you feel it is present for too long after your treatment, or if you are concerned in general, always...
How long do I need to wait if I had Fraxel treatment a week ago before considering Morpheus?
Wait 4 weeks, Be Patient with your skin
Sep 4, 2019
In general we advise to wait a minimum of 4 weeks, sometimes longer, in between any energy, or chemically based aesthetic treatments. This includes injectables, microneedling, laser, IPL, RadioFrequency energy, and chemical peels. This is to allow healing and recovery from each treatment, avoiding risks such as infections or post-inflammatory pigment changes.
If I get a Morpheus8 treatment how bad do you look right after?
Surprisingly minimal downtime
Sep 4, 2019
The Morpheus8 offers the pleasant surprise of very minimal downtime, especially when compared to traditional microneedling (2mm or less). Most everyone will show some degree of redness during and immediately after the procedure, especially in lighter skin tones and weaker skin health. Redness can resolve within minutes, or hours. You may also see very mild pin-point bleeds (think tiny dots) that may be easily wiped away, or will naturally scab and slough over the next 24-48 hours. You...
Will Morpheus8 help me at all with wrinkling and stretch marks on my stomach after having a baby? (ph
Yes! A Great Option for post-pregnancy belly skin
Sep 4, 2019
The Morpheus8, or M8 is an excellent option for post-pregnancy skin. It is a fractional RF and microneedling system that induces collagen growth and skin tightening, as well as fat coagulation and remodeling below the skin. During this comfortable treatment, a topical anesthetic is applied to the area. 24 gold-coated micropins deliver fractionated radiofrequemcy energy up to 5 mm below the surface of the skin. Downtime is minimal and consists of some redness and...
O shot - would I be a candidate?
You are the ideal candidate!
Sep 4, 2019
The O-Shot would be an excellent option to pursue in your case! The O-Shot has been described as "giving the clitoris a blood transfusion", and in many ways this is true. Your own plasma is collected via a simple blood draw, and then injected directly into the most sensitive spots, the clitoris and anterior vaginal wall. It is designed to provide nutrient-rich stem cell and growth factors to the area in order to revitalize tissue and promote new tissue growth. This in turn heightens...
How old does someone need to be to get an O-shot?
Bluntly put, a minimum of 18 or 21 years, depending on the office or state laws.
Sep 4, 2019
Just because a "minimum age" exists, does not mean the patient is an appropriate candidate. Sexual dysfunction, decreased sensation, or inability to orgasm in the younger years may have several different causes, in which an O-Shot may not be helpful. O-Shot is appropriate in women who have experienced child birth, hormonal changes, menopause, or general hypofunction. That being said, the decision to treat would be made case-by-case, based on a thorough...
Can someone get an O-shot without numbing the area first?
It's your body, your choice!
Sep 4, 2019
After being thoroughly counseled in the procedure, if you opt to experience the sensation and/or pain of a needle-tip entering your most sensitive bits and pieces, that is your decision! It will not affect your results, and the discomfort that is felt is likely to be fleeting once the injections are complete. All the best!
