In his undergraduate studies, Dr. Gujrati double majored in both Molecular and Cellular Biology, as well as Philosophy. He then went on to earn his medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. Upon completion, he pursued a residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington and was then accepted into the prestigious dual-fellowship of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery at the Rousso Facial Plastic Surgery Center and The Alabama Hair Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
Today, Dr. Gujrati is double board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and a fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
Dr. Gujrati has been the proud recipient of numerous honors and awards celebrating his hair restoration research and education efforts. He has also been closely involved with scientific exploration and meetings regarding hair loss on an international scale.
