It is definitely possible to improve your asymmetry with revision surgery. This can be performed under local anesthesia. Your understanding of the procedure is exactly correct. You will need one crease to be re-established as it has failed on that side. The other side will need slight correction with lowering of the crease (it is too high) and removing just a small amount of skin. Please visit with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
