Could dry eyes 2 weeks after Botox be permanent?

I’m sorry about the dry eyes! The good news is that the effects are not permanent with Botox or any of the other similar products. The bad news is that the dryness could last for several months. There are eye drops that can help with unexpected effects on the eyes, I would definitely contact your injector! Best wishes

Great question! All of these products are HA (hyaluronic acid) fillers. They differ in density and flexibility properties as well as longevity. The most flexible and least dense product is Volbella but it is also the shortest lasting. Juvederm (xc) is the stiffest of these products but potentially the longest lasting. Refyne and Defyne are hyaluronic acid fillers. They have many similarities but are used for slightly different applications. We tend to use defyne more to address wrinkles caused by volume loss and refyne more to correct superficial wrinkles caused by aging , collagen loss and photo damage.
