it's not easy to judge without any pictures or a proper consultation. 
If the swelling is gone, you can proceed getting Botox on your Masseter muscles.
I'd advice you also some laser treatments to drain the post-surgical inflammation and to prevent scar tissues, it really helps tightening and enhancing the surgical result.Make sure to see an injection specialist (plastic, oculoplastic, facial plastic or derm) who is familiar with the facial anatomy.
