Statement: Dr. Paydar earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California Los Angeles and is a medical graduate of the University of Tennessee, Memphis. At the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Paydar went on to complete six years of general surgery residency and an additional two years of plastic and reconstructive surgery training. In addition, he has completed observerships in Aesthetic Surgery in Dallas, Miami and New York under the guidance of world-renowned cosmetic surgeons. He went on to perform and teach plastic & reconstructive surgery for over 12 years at the University of California Irvine and was promoted to Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery, training number of current members of Orange County’s plastic surgeons.

Dr. Paydar graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA, with college and departmental honors, and a member of the honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. After four years of medical school, he trained in general surgery for six years at the prestigious UCSF program, where he received an NIH grant during his research year there. He then applied for the most competitive field in surgery and entered the plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at UCSF for two years.
