Hi,
For most patients I recommend a sub muscular / dual plane implant placement and any reduction in capsular contracture rate using textured implants is minimal in this situation. As textured implants may be associated with an increased risk of Breast Implant Associated Lymphoma in comparison to smooth implants I do not recommend them unless there is a specific reason to do so e.g. previous capsular contracture, pre muscular / sub glandular implant placement...

Hi and thanks for your question. It looks and sounds like a contact dermatitis related to the tapes and this should settle now you have removed them. A weak steroid cream may help. It is important to be sure it is not infected before starting this so I would discuss with your surgeon before starting treatment. All the best!

Hi,A little redness and itch is normal in wound healing. Some people do develop skin irritation to skin tapes commonly used as dressings that can make this look and feel worse for longer. Thanks for the question. As others have suggested, a 25 cc difference in your implant size choice is unlikely to substantially affect your outcome. What is critical is that you are comfortable with your final decision.
