Injectable Fillers & Lip Augmentation With Dr Weinberg, Mississauga, Ontario
This 31 year old young woman had lip augmentation with a dermal filler a number of times, usually with Restylane, 1/2 a syringe. On this occassion she agreed to try a larger amount, wanting a fuller, poutier look. Dr. Weinberg reviewed with her the ideal lip contours. Based on the “golden proportion” the ratio of the upper to lower lip should be 1/1.618 ( the “phi” proportion has been used in classical art dating back to medieval times and has recently been demonstrated to predict proportion in all the most beautiful faces of modern times as well). Here you can appreicate the added fullness after 1 cc injection of Juvederm. Dr. weinberg uses the " phi" proportion principle in many of his injectable treatments.
