Statement: Dr. Tuan A. Tran, MD, MBA, FACS is a plastic surgeon and the founder of Tran Plastic Surgery in Westminster, California. Board certified in both general and plastic surgery, he provides his Orange County patients with a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures, such as blepharoplasty breast augmentation, liposuction, facelift, Botox, Kybella, and Threadlift. As an experienced hand surgeon with eight years in practice, Dr. Tran regularly performs meticulous surgeries to treat a range of hand conditions, including carpal tunnel syndrome, mallet finger, and hand rejuvenation with fat grafting and fillers.

Inspired to follow in the footsteps of his mother who is also a medical doctor, Dr. Tran graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. During his general surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California, his fascination with reconstructive surgery further developed after assisting on various procedures for cancer patients, leading him to complete a residency at the University of Miami’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program. This was followed by a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California.

“I developed an interest in being a well-rounded and complete surgeon who can treat and manage peripheral nerves, bone, and joint diseases in addition to internal organs and soft tissues,” says Dr. Tran.
Today, Dr. Tran is thrilled to make his home in Orange County where he plans to practice for the rest of his career with the mission to restore & enhance the functions and aesthetics of his patients.
