Uneven and stained incisal edges and an unsightly chip in the incisal edge at the midline of the central incisors in an otherwise perfectly healthy mouth make this patient an ideal candidate for whitening followed by enamel recontouring. In total, the expense is less than the cost of a single veneer and the entire procedure can be completed in an hour with no drilling or numbing. The best part is there is no maintenance or replacement cost as is frequently the case with crowns and/or veneers.
