Dr Mitchell, Henderson, Nevada (89074) 56 Year Old Mrs. Treated With Under Eye Surgery Picture
This 62-year-old female underwent an upper eyelid blepharoplasty and a lower eyelid skin pinch (lower lid skin removal only). These photos are shown preoperatively and six weeks following surgery. The patient has chosen not to have a brow lift which is a completely separate procedure from a Blepharoplasty. A brow lift can be done in conjunction with a blepharoplasty or as a separate isolated procedure at a different time. She has a very nice result from an upper eyelid blepharoplasty alone. This is a typical result from my surgeries on eyelids. Eyelid blepharoplasty is generally a very safe and effective procedure. The surgery is performed using local anesthesia and does not require general anesthesia. An upper and lower eyelid surgery takes less than two hours o complete. This is not a painful recovery and postoperative narcotic pain medication is usually not needed. Eyelid surgery is by far my favorite surgery to perform because of its effectiveness, safety and overwhelming patient satisfaction. (Feb 26, 2020)
