The proper way to decide what the best procedure is for a given patient is to identify the problem. The problem with what is seen in your photo and what you complain of is not excess fat but excess skin. Liposuction does not treat loose skin, even the more "advanced"($$$) types. If there is extra skin it requires removal of a certain amount thereby tightening what remains but will leave a permanent visible scar. Hi, injection of a steroid has the known side effect of fat atrophy or loss of fat in the area injected. This may or may not be associated with some scar that is tethering the skin down. If the principal of this scenario was fat loss it is best to replace the fat through a fat injection. When done in larger volumes in the buttock, it's referred to as a BBL. Hi, post-operative or post procedure nausea can be caused by a number of things, most commonly prescription medications. . My office based liposuction and BBL is done with local anesthesia and oral sedatives and pain medications. Patients are also given an antibiotic. Patients who have not taken a particular antibiotic or have never taken a narcotic can experience nausea. It is not related to the local anesthesia. My office provides patients with anti nausea pills just in case. Good luck.

Hello, varicose veins of the lower extremities do add an extremely small risk for surgery for an otherwise healthy patient. It is one item on a grading scale in regards to the risk of a blood clot after surgery. Hi, It is too early to know the final position of your breast and nipple/areolae. You will need at least another 3 to 6 months. At that point you can reevaluate the results. Firstly, the fold under the breast is what will more commonly define their position after surgery. It appears your folds are not the same. Hello,

You tend to see more rippling with saline implants above the muscle. You did not do anything wrong! The swelling has subsided now and so the tissue between the implant and the skin is thinner which allows you to see the rippling. There is some additional component perhaps from the capsule, ie the "bag of scar" that develops around all implants, could also contribute to the visible rippling. There is nothing to do about it other than additional surgery where you can either choose...

There are some areas that appear to be over- resected and or aggressive scarring. You can try a scar release with fat grafting which should provide some improvement. Sometimes a second fat grafting procedure is needed but each procedure only requires a few tablespoons of fat. Best of luck.

Hi, it all depends on what you would like to see. Based only on this photo, I would recommend aggressive liposuction of the entire low back to help define a more narrow waist, possibly a small amount of liposuction in the area of fullness on the upper outer thighs. That fat could then be used to fill in the depressed areas known as the hip dips. This would give better shape and contour to the buttock and low back.
