This is a 61 year old woman who had been suffering with painful, swollen, achy varicose veins for 25 years. Her treatment consisted of endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) of the greater saphenous vein followed by one session of micro-phlebectomy. She began to notice improvements shortly after her treatment and reported no residual pain, discomfort, or swelling by day 4 after her last procedure. Of note, she also no longer suffers from a restless leg during the night that often made it difficult for her to sleep.
