Dr Paul Lanfranchi, DO, FAOCO, Las Vegas, Nevada (89123) 50 Year Old Wife Treated With Fractional CO2 Laser And Upper Surgical Reduction Of The Eyelids
This female client presented with the desire for rejuvenation of her eyes. She wished to reduce the wrinkles under her eyes along with decreasing the amount of skin sitting above her eyelids. Examination revealed moderate excessive hooding above the eyes along with moderate/severe wrinkles under her eyes. We decided to perform an upper blepharoplasty (to remove the excess skin) and fractionated CO2 laser to the lower eye skin. Both procedures were performed on the same day (under one hour) only using local anesthesia and mild oral sedation with valium. Her results demonstrate natural appearing increased show of her upper eyelids along with significant decrease in her lower eye wrinkles. She was able to return to work and the gym after one week recovery. (Feb 25, 2020)
