This middle-aged woman presented with the request of improving both her upper and lower eyelids. She stated that she had a tired and sad appearance. Physical exam revealed excessive fat pouches under both eyes, along with excessive upper eyelid hooding which made it difficult to maintain mascara. Under local anesthesia (no IV or general anesthesia necessary) with oral sedation, we performed upper and lower blepharoplasties. Procedure time was under two hours. Her results demonstrate a flat contour under her eyelids (bags removed) as well as increased show of her upper eyelids. She stated that she appeared well rested and makeup application was much more effective. (Feb 25, 2020)
