Camille is a graduate of California State University Long Beach where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1998. In 2019, she was certified as an aesthetic nurse specialist. The goal of microneedling with PRP treatments is to stimulate collagen growth on the skin in order to improve its overall quality and texture.  It does not make your face plump the way fillers do. Some patients elect to have PRFM (platelet rich fibrin matrix - a more solidified form of PRP) to be injected at the same time and that can be used for volume augmentation.  Goretti H. Taghva MD FACS

Thank you for your question.  Typically, ear cartilage is used to increase projection and refine the tip of the nose whether you use an implant/ autologous tissue for bridge augmentation.  If only a conservative augmentation is needed for the bridge, ear cartilage can be used in conjunction with temporalis fascia as well.  Looking at your photos, more cartilage may be needed than just using the ear to increase the bridge and radix height to look like your wish photo.  Longevity wise both...
What can I do about the filler in my nose glowing red in the sun?

Hyaluronic acid is a translucent gel.  When a lot is placed under thin skin, it can appear translucent like what we see on your photos.  If you like the shape of your nose, you can try to see if BB cream/ foundation can do a better job covering it.  If you really can’t stand the look of it, then dissolving it would be a good option.  You may then consider trying a different filler that isn’t HA based, or surgical rhinoplasty. Good luck!Goretti H. 3 weeks post-op. My radix is too high. Will it get lower after time?

Hello! Swelling can be quite prominent at 3 weeks post op.  Fascial grafts may hold onto the swelling a bit longer compared to implants.   The radix area should appear less swollen over the next 4-8 weeks.  Be patient! Goretti H. Taghva MD
