This Asian female presented to our Center with the complaint of consistently puffy lower eyes. She stated that even on her "best day" there was always an element of fullness (worse on her right side) that could not be concealed or corrected with makeup or additional sleep. After examination, we agreed upon performing a lower blepharoplasty in order to remove her under-eye fat bags. Under local anesthesia (no IV or general) and oral sedation, we performed a lower blepharoplasty by making a tiny incision under the eyelash line and meticulously removing the fat (more fat removed from her heavier/right side). Stitches were removed five days after procedure and she was able to return to work and exercise one week after procedure. Her result demonstrates a flat natural appearing contour below both eyelids. The incision lines are completely faded and unnoticeable. (Feb 25, 2020)
