Thanks for the question. The highest risk for fat embolism in a BBL procedure is either during the procedure or in the week after the procedure. The risk decreases significantly after that. In most cases, the fat embolism is a result of an injury to the veins in the gluteal area during the procedure. Thanks for the question.  With the limited photos, ( a side picture would be helpful) you may be a candidate for liposuction.  Your abdominal skin quality appears to be good but I cannot determine from the photo if you have a muscle separation.  If you do in fact have a muscle separation, that would require a muscle tightening to get a flat tummy.  Liposuction does not change the abdominal muscles and cannot correct a muscle separation.

Thanks for the question.  Many patients requesting a tummy tuck also have diastasis recti which means a separation of the rectus muscles resulting in a central abdominal bulge.  If this is not addressed at the time of the tummy tuck then the abdominal bulge will remain leaving the patient with a less than optimal result.  A plastic surgeon should be able to determine if you have diastasis recti.  This should be addressed at the time of your tummy tuck.

Thanks for the question.  I often recommend liposuction of the waist and back bra rolls to be done in combination with the tummy tuck procedure.  This will enhance your overall result while improving waist definition.  This can be done safely in combination with the tummy tuck procedure.

Thanks for the question.  It sounds like you had a hysterectomy through a vertical lower midline incision resulting in the front butt appearance.  This would be corrected by a full tummy tuck procedure.  There is not alternative to a tummy tuck that will correct this issue.   The recovery from a tummy tuck procedure is improved with the use of the drainless technique and the Exparel for postoperative pain control.

Thanks for the question.  Age is not a contraindication for tummy tuck surgery.  The overall health status of the patient is the determining factor in whether or not a patient is a candidate for tummy tuck surgery.  Patients who are smokers or have cardiac or respiratory problems may not be candidates for tummy tuck surgery.  An in-office consultation is the best way to determine your eligibility for a tummy tuck procedure.

Thanks for the question.  Treating the frown lines between the eyebrows typically involves treating the corrugator muscles that are responsible for the vertical lines between the eyebrow often referred to as the '11s'.  Treating this muscle will typically not affect the brow position in terms of raising or lowering the brow but can widen the space between the brows.
